Terms and Conditions

Welcome to QuizTime! Before participating, please carefully review the following terms and conditions governing your use of the app and participation in quizzes:

1. Acceptance of Terms: By using our Live Quiz App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the app.

2. Eligibility:

To participate in any paid quizzes, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
A. You must be above the age of 18 years.
B. You must be residing in India.
C. You must have a valid Indian mobile number to create an Account.


Please note that Paid Quizzes are not permitted in the following states (“Restricted States”):
Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Telangana

You agree that You are not from any of these Restricted States and You shall refrain from making any false disclosures, declarations and/or representations to Us to circumvent the applicable laws and/or regulations of the territory of India (“Applicable Law”) of the Restricted States to participate in any Paid Contests.

3. Quiz Participation: Users can participate in quizzes by accessing the app during scheduled quiz times. Each participant must have a registered account on the app to join.

4. Entry Fee: To participate in a live quiz, players must pay the designated entry fee. Any entry fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether the participant wins or loses, or does not attend the quiz at the specified time mentioned in the app.

5. KYC: KYC should be completed before adding / withdrawing money from the wallet. Players who have not done KYC are only eligible to play free quizzes. In case the details entered while creating the account and while doing KYC do not match, we fully reserve the right to cancel / suspend such account. The coins present in the wallet of such an account will be forfeited, and will not be paid back to the player in any form.

6. Rewards: Players have the opportunity to win rewards based on their performance in the quizzes. The nature and value of rewards may vary and will be clearly communicated before the start of each quiz.

7. Prize Distribution: Winners will be determined based on predefined criteria, such as accuracy and speed of responses. Winners will be rewarded as per the prize pool set before the start of the quiz in the form of QCoins (more on QCoins below). Prizes will be distributed as specified in the app, typically within a reasonable timeframe after the quiz ends. Players will be able to withdraw money from their wallet within the range of 100 QCoins and maximum of 10,000 QCoins.

8. Intellectual Property: All content, including questions, answers, and any other material provided in the app, is the intellectual property of our company or its licensors. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit this content without prior permission.

9. QCoins : QCoins are coins that the app rewards the winners of the quiz as per the pool / distribution notified to the players before the quiz begins.

A. QCoin Rewards:
Winners of quizzes and challenges on QuizTime will be rewarded in the form of QCoins. 1 QCoin has the value of Rs. 1 INR after being rewarded, and can be withdrawn from the wallet for real cash with the same value.

B. Eligibility:
Participants must meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the general terms and conditions. QCoin rewards are available only to participants who comply with the rules and guidelines of QuizTime.

C. Accumulation and Redemption:
QCoins earned by participants will be credited to their account within a reasonable time frame after winning a quiz or challenge. Participants can accumulate QCoins in their account over time. QCoin redemption options may be subject to change at the discretion of Shansa Apps PVT. LTD.

D. Transferability:
QCoins are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or transferred between user accounts. QCoins cannot be transferred to external accounts or platforms, and have no value of their own outside the QuizTime app.

E. Expiration:
QCoins may have an expiration date, as determined by Shansa Apps PVT. LTD. Participants are responsible for utilizing their QCoins before the expiration date to avoid forfeiture.

F. TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) :
As per the new Govt. Tax (TDS) law, effective 1st April 2023, TDS will be deducted at 30% of the net winnings at the time of withdrawal.

Net Winnings will be calculated as : Total Withdrawal - Total Deposit - Opening balance at the start of fiscal year

Ex : If the total withdrawal for the financial year is 3000 (including the current amount), and the total deposit is 1000, and the opening balance is 300

then the Net winning will be calculated as : 3000 - 1000 - 300 = 1700.
30 % of 1700 = 510. So 510 will be deducted from 3000, and 2490 rs. will be credited to your account.
TDS certificates will be issued within 1 month from the last date of filing TDS returns for every quarter.
G. Fraud and Abuse:
Any attempt to manipulate, abuse, or fraudulently earn QCoins will result in immediate disqualification and possible suspension from the app. Shansa Apps PVT. LTD. reserves the right to withhold or revoke QCoin rewards if fraudulent activity is suspected.

H. Liability:
Shansa Apps PVT. LTD. is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from the use or inability to use QCoins. QCoin rewards are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

I. Modification of Terms:
Shansa Apps PVT. LTD. reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions for QCoin rewards at any time without prior notice. Participants are responsible for reviewing the terms periodically for changes.

10. Liability: Shansa Apps PVT. LTD. is not responsible for any technical issues, interruptions, or errors that may occur during free quiz. In case of paid quizzes, in case of interruptions or technical issues at our end which may lead to quiz stopping or ending abruptly, we might pay back the affected players their entry fees in form of QCoins. Participants play at their own risk and assume full responsibility for any loss or damage incurred. Shansa Apps PVT. LTD. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the quiz.

11. Fair Play: Users must not engage in any form of cheating, including but not limited to using automated tools, colluding with other participants, or accessing answers through unauthorized means. Violation of this rule may result in disqualification and forfeiture of rewards.

12. Privacy: We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users. By using the app, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for changes.

14. Termination: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including violation of these terms and conditions.

15. Disclaimer of Warranty: The app is provided on an "as is" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided in the app. That being said, the questions and their answers will be thoroughly researched by the responsible team.

16. Limitation of Liability: In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the app or participation in quizzes.

17. Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your state without regard to its conflicts of law principles.
